EL DORADO, Kan. — The preliminary physical description of a body found east of here matches that of missing college student Emily Sander, El Dorado Police Chief Tom Boren said.
Boren said the body was found around 2:20 p.m. Thursday, about 50 miles east of El Dorado, where the 18-year-old Sander had attended college and was last seen leaving a bar with a man who has been the subject of a nationwide search.
Her case drew wide attention after it was revealed that she appeared nude on a popular adult Web site under the name Zoey Zane. That site was temporarily inaccessible Thursday, as were several sites that bill themselves as "fan" sites of Zane.

Why does the media insist on making the main story regarding this young girl or woman about her secerete life or her internet issue.
ReplyDeleteThis is a someone you do not know and have no reason to put personal info she did not want divulged out to the public. This is someone's daughter, sister, friend. Do you have any idea why she may have been doing what she was? Do you care? Apparantly no.
What good does this info serve except to make a more intriging story?
God forgive you and God bless her and her family.
Nobody deserves to be killed, no matter who they are or what they do. The media and most people in this entire county need to get a grip on reality and focus on the real issues and tragic consequences of violence and murder that happen more and more each day. The media needs to report the facts only, not add speculation or insite moral outcry.
ReplyDeleteSo what if she took her clothes off, does that make it OK for what happened to this human being.Bet it will not be long before the "she asked for it" or other stupid moral/religious judgements,I,m sure will come up appear. Don't pass judgement on her for what she did in her private life, that is up to a higher authority to decidenot you or the media.
The tradgity her is that this is happening in the USA, we all need to put an end to this senseless killing and violence.
I agree, For days, Emily Sander was referred to as a missing student. Once her secret life was exposed, it was no longer that way. She has made all the headlines as "Porn Star". The media, CNN included, has turned this into a circus. I am sure that reviews mean much more to the media than giving Emily dignity in her death. For those of you who don't understand about life...actually, student or porn star, neither of the two are correct...that is what she does, not who she is.She is Emily...daughter, granddaughter...family member. Her family is suffering enough without the expose' the media is conducting into her personal life. Let this girl have dignity in her death. Not one of us know what was happening in her life or what she was feeling in her heart that may have contributed to the choices she made. I don't know if the family has bitter feelings toward those who have chose to headline her as a porn star, but it certainly has me. God Bless Emily and her family.
